We're not gone. Jon is recovering from surgery still. It went lamer than expected by both of us, and so we missed our updates. (We have no buffer around here. Buffers are for people who work quickly!)
Anyway, once he's recovered, we'll be back to not missing updates. My hope is this Sunday. Wish him well!

Jonathan is going to be getting some minor surgery next week, so it's likely there won't be an update next Sunday. But maybe we can come up with some filler, or he'll miraculously get the comic done in two days. We'll see! Update: Jonathan -- did you ever now that you're my hero? Back to regular Aggro for a little while, but we should have more oddness to add to our Other Projects soon... we may even begin work on the full issue we wrote a while back soon. Exciting! Jonathan has also begun applying some of the new techniques he worked on for Warning: Jesus Joke to Aggro, so you'll see some experimentation with the character design and better coloring. If you've got an opinion, by all means let us know!

We wanted to have the first Other Project up today. Then we wanted to at least get half of it up today. But unfortunately, neither happened. Not from laziness on Jonathan's part -- simply from a lack of speed. He's really pushing himself to do something new with his art this time around, and it's making the work go even slower than normal. He was cool enough to create this nice filler strip, though! This one is all Jonathan, I had nothing to do with it -- praise and metaphorical poo-flinging should be aimed at him.

We press on. Current plans are not to have an Aggro comic for next week, as we'll finally be putting up our first comic for the Other Projects section. I'm really looking forward to seeing Jonathan's work on it.
In other news, my story "Games on the Children's Ward" was an Honorable Mention in Years Best Fantasy and Horror 2007. Pretty cool, even it is just one story amidst a very long list. A few of my fellow Writers of the Future winners were in there as well, so yay for them!
